Species: The Kal'Bavakorians, the new breed, have recently overtaken the fall of the old race of Kal'Bavakorians, who have vanished from existance. The Kal'Bavakorians are a race of short (usually five foot to 5'2 is the tallest they get) grey skinned humanoids who seem to have developed side-by-side with humans, except for visible differences. All Kal'Bavakorians have a shade of silvery, golden, or dark brown hair, with brown being the most rare color. They have strange silvery eyes that are walled with a purple glow, giving them a strange illumination. They are noted with having strange obtrusions on the top of their foreheads beneath their hairline, which allows heightened senses and increases their agility and reaction time by allowing information to travel quicker to the brain. All Kal'Bavakorians have four dots on their forehead, black ones, but their purpose is unknown. Their ears are somewhat pointed, and their long necks are covered in movable but thick scales, as is their shoulders, kneecaps, outer thighs, elbows, over their heart, and respective gender areas to give them extra protection. The Kal'Bavakorians are unable to speak in a 'normal' way, and instead use their snake-like tongues to create 'clicks', 'hoots', 'cooing' and other noises to communicate. The Kal also have three fingered hands, double jointed legs that give the Kals a sort of horse-like leg appearance which allows them to swim and move up and down slopes better, and two toes on each foot. Each hand and foot is webbed to allow better swimming. To top it all off, Kals have 6 gills on their stomachs, below their chest area which allow them to breath very well underwater. Kal'Bavakorian's dual jointed legs are angled such that they are able to appear as not having such strange legs via stretching them out into a straighter looking appearance, allowing them to gain a few inches of height.. Somewhat like humans standing on their tip-toes.

Kal'Bavakorians require very cold temperatures, freezing point, to be comfortable in their environments, and they require very humid air to survive indefinetly. They are able to breath in non-humid areas for short amounts of time, and they can live in warm environments and survive. But Kal'Bavakorians are unable to live in dry locations, such as deserts, and cannot survive in hot locations either. They are utterly terrified of fire, and will flee from the source no matter what. Kal'Bavakorians have a natural lifespan of 200 years, with the process of wrinkling and becoming 'elderly' beginning at about 180 years. Kal'Bavakorians, due to their environment, are also a GREAT deal stronger than a normal human. They have the ability to lift very heavy objects and the like, making them adept fighters and workers.

The great difference between Kal'Bavakorian Males and Females is that males have sharp horns, composed of reinforced Kal'Bavakorian bone jutting from their chin and from their extended elbows. Males also have sharp fins protruding from their cheeks, which open and extend out in response to anger or uncomfortable stimuli. Males are noted to have greater height and strength than females, as well as less neck scales and no groin-scales. Female Kals have brighter eyes, a greater increase in agility and slimness, and most notably they have two appendages poking from the backs of their shoulders. When extended, they produce tentacle-like appendages, complete with suction cups at the end, which extend up to five feet. They are weaker than the arms of the females, but are still very strong, and are meant to carry the young of females as well as assist them with complex tasks. Female Kal'Bavakorians give birth to new Kals by way of a mix between mammals and non-mammals. An egg is fertilized within' a female Kal'Bavakorian, as normal by mammal standards, but after an allotted time of five months the female gives birth to the egg. The egg must then be connected to a nutrient and hydration source, as well as a Kal'Bavakorian-based temperature and pressure, and protected for the next six months. At this time, female Kal'Bavakorians become extremely hostile and very territorial, and anyone who is not recognized by the mother of the egg who attempts to approach it is usually attacked violently. Females are given maternity leave for about a standard year after giving birth to the egg, six for the actual eggs protection, and another six for the actual baby's protection.

Male chin and elbow horns and female tentacle appendages only appear after pubescence has been reached. In a defensive manner, Females can outstretch their tentacles in a defensive manner and 'rattle' them while hissing, whilst Males expose their cheek fins and their sharp horns whilst hissing as well. To speak, Kals constrict their throats and this allows them to change the pitch and tune of their clicks, hoots, etc, as well as allows them to eat harder, larger sea creatures. Kal'Bavakorians also have the ability to separate their lower jaw in half, creating a mandible-like jaw structure which allows them to swallow and consume larger sea creatures, as well as allows them to let out a bellowing screetch-like war cry. Kal'Bavakorians are carnivores, eating hardly any greens at all.

Systems Republic of Kal'Bavakor (SRK) 50352385

The underwater city of Mel, the capital of the Kal'Bavakorian Systems Republic on Kal'Bavakor.

Homeworld Name: Kal'Bavakor
Homeworld Type: Ice and Ocean.
Homeworld Geological Analysis: A good quantity of metal alloys and minerals, as a great deal has been removed already from the planets crust.
Homeworld Atmosphere: Normal Terran gases, except the humidity level on the planet is unbearable for any creature besides a Kal'Bavakorian.
Homeworld Description:
Homeworld Location: 0B-014

Unlike most planets, Kal'Bavakor is triple the size of Earth, and has 2.4 times the level of gravity. Kal'Bavakor is a frozen tundra of a planet with below zero temperatures ranging from 5 degrees F to -70 degrees F, though a few oasis' dot the planet in the forms of liquid water and plant and animal life. The planet is also very humid, making for frequent and rather extreme blizzards and snowstorms, or rain and hail in the oasis' locations. Though there is not a great deal of animal or plant life on the surface, ocean life is immense. Massive squids, fish of all sizes and shapes and colors, the horrid Kal'Messu creatures, and much much more dot the expansive ocean tunnels and open ocean. The water is a deal warmer below the surface, which allows more life to grow. 97 percent of life is underneath the ocean in fact. To deal with the immense cold, all animals on the icy planet are cold-blooded, including the sentient Kal'Bavakorians, and the ones that live on the surface are coated either with a large fur coat or exo-skeleton to keep warm. The gravity of the planet is a bit heavier than a normal Terran planet due to the size of it, but not a great deal more. Underwater lies the main cities of Kal'Bavakor, and the Capital, as it is named. Only in the last two hundred years have the Kal'Bavakorian people pushed their way onto the surface of the planet, setting up massive metropolises around the oasis' and farther off, and towns have dotted the colder regions of the world. Orbital elevators can be seen coming from these metropolises, allowing the quick and cheap transport of items to trade with the colonies.

Political System: A Representative-Democracy to some, a Dictatorship to others, the Republic is led by an Emperor or an Empress who is elected into office by Citizens. They are supported by a Grand Council, elected from Districts on each of the four planets they inhabit. Four Senators from each District, and there are six Districts per planet. This system is put in place to make sure only those willing to sacrifice everything to the community can control the government.

Citizens can vote or join a political office, but not Civilians. Slaves or those who have ever been slaves cannot vote, cannot hold office. Current slaves' rights are determined by their Masters. More on this in Culture.

Economical System: Capitalism. Plastic card-like money is used, separated into different values, called 'Kal Kredits', or KK's.
Language: It's name is incomprehensible in English, but to humans it is known as 'Kal'.
Culture: Even with religion gone now, the morals left behind by the 'Water Goddess' remain in the law. Only the rich or well privileged live on the surface cities, though it is well known that it is more comfortable to live in the water cities, and much more lively at that. All and all, the Kal'Bavakorian people rely on themselves, and are hard workers, but they are mostly known for their works of art in writing, art, and their advances in genetics and organic manipulation.,Kal'Bavakorians are known, or will be known, as the greatest ice-sculptists in the galaxy, and the greatest neurosurgeons as well. Their culture is not all that different to human culture, though they do not rely on technology as much, for they are able to withstand and enjoy their frozen home. Also interesting is that Kal'Bavakorians have put jewlery, especially ear-rings, as a popular trend in their culture, and has remained such since the beginning of time. Once the teenage years have been reached, female Kal'Bavakorians usually get earrings around the upper sections of her ear or on the very tip of the pointed, slightly bent section of the year. Males usually recieve it on the lobe of the ear.

Besides the rich and the not-so-rich, the Republic is separated into Citizens, Civilians, Indentured Servants, and Slaves. Citizens are allowed to vote for a political, hold political office, have the right to protest, to petition and appeal a law, and so on and so forth. Civilians are only allowed basic rights, such as freedom of speech, press, schooling, etc. One is born as a Civilian, no matter if their parent is a Citizen or not. Citizens are held in higher regard in the Federation, and they are the ones to be evacuated first, protected first in most scenarios, and have the easiest time to, say, earn a permit to travel to another planet, or to own a spaceship. They are usually the rich, though many Civilians are also very wealthy, and some Citizens are poor as well.

Kals consider the exposing of male and female groin areas, female chest areas, and female gills and tentacle appendages to be inappropriate in public, though females are allowed by law to use their tentacles whenever they need to, such as while working, caring for children, and even sometimes in combat.

To be able to become an 'adult' in the eyes of Kal'Bavakorian people, a pubescent child must finish their 'Right to Passage', a trail in which they learn great lessons of life and grow much the wiser. It may be a personal mission given to them by their parents, or one followed by everyone, such as the 'Swim to the Heart of Kal'Bavakor', where a child must swim down a chasm, deep down into the oceans of Kal'Bavakor, and stopping every so often to think over important passages written amongst the passage by those who have done this before them. Only once they finish and return to the surface will they be seen as an adult, and they shall be allowed to continue to get a job and such. If they fail, they must retry the same trial until it is completed. More accepted nowadays is the Arena, where children are sent to fight in order to gain respect and prestige in order to join Federal Service.

Kal's do not have actors or TV shows, they consider acting to be a 'faulty' entertainment. They instead have entertainment shows on television, displaying new creations or, most popularly, singers and performers of a certain skill. Singers are the most revered of Kal'Bavakorian entertainers, and those that can understand the language Kal can appreciate the many styles of music the Kal'Bavakorians have, as well as their more good-willed lyrics. Sports are also a huge part of Kal'Bavakorian culture, as the game of Water Ball and 'Dravoon Racing' are some of the most competitive and watched games in the Federation. Dravoon Racing is simply the biggest 'sport' in all of the Federation, and has twenty racers on their Dravoons. They begin a race amongst a large circuit, and their main objective is to get the most points. Winning the race gives the most points, but doing tricks, knocking other riders off their Dravoons, and other interesting actions also award the racer points. Breaking the rules of the game removes points or can disqualify the racer altogether. This is like the Nascar of the Federation, basically, as thousands of people come to the circuits that reside on all of the planets in the Federation to watch and celebrate such an occasion, whilst billions watch from their HTVs (holo-televisions).

The way to become a Citizen and become a high class member of Federation society is to join a Federal Service, such as the Kal'Bavakorian Republics Army, Marines, or Navy. Or something with no combat, like the Research Division, Citizens Guard (which helps with natural disasters), Construction, or any other sort of work that benefits to society. After a set amount of time, one becomes a Citizen, and earn their rights, as well as special wages each year for their service. The Republics slogan for such work is 'Service Guarentees Citizenship.' To those who achieve the most honored and respected level of citizenship, or are just outstanding people in general who are memorable in what they might have done, one can be awarded the title of 'Kal' before their name, signifying their immense importance. Indentured servants are part of Kal'Bavakorian society, usually used as servants when someone commits a small crime. They are forced into working for people who order their contracts from the government and shall be set free after a pre-set date. People without work can actually become servants themselves and, once their contracts are finished, they are given a large sum of money from the government and the ability to own a house. Their contracts are given out to richer Kals or businesses who cannot afford to buy an Organic Intelligence, or if they are unavailable or if the client dislikes them.

Kal'Bavakorians are known as fantastic neurosurgeons, psychologists, and for creating artificial translators for their advanced research into brain wave and brain structure. They have created minor Organic Intelligences, or OI's, to perform tasks for the Federation to assist those in Federal Service, including them in jobs like cleaning, repair, construction, medicine, and even combat. These 'Organic Intelligences' consist of mech suits with a brain grown from Kal'Bavakorian DNA which is programmed to do a specific task. The brain is allowed to have restrictive thinking, have most feelings, and have relationships with other OI's and organic beings. The brains are programmed to gain pride and joy and other positive feelings from doing their assigned job, and are a hundred percent loyal to the Federation and it's people, and are kind and helpful beings, often treated like real civilians. With this new ability, the Federation has created strict laws to prevent problems, such as OI's cant replace Kals at work, and Kals cannot augment themselves, only their equipment and such. Breaking of these laws is punishable by death. They are also expansionists, and absolutely love space craft construction, and they have multiple construction facilities on multiple planets. They prefer quick hit and run tactics with small starcraft and overwhelming numbers than massive spaceships, but they do have a few of the latter. They are also masters of terraforming technologies, and create extremely advanced Enviro-suits for their people, of which are made by several companies and in stylish colors. They enjoy Galactic Politics, and are eager to meet another race to set up relations, and the idea of races relying on one another, and the idea of a multi-race Galactic Council is practically a dream, and plans are already set up for a space station for such matters. They have also begun to dive into genetics, and they have used this science to outfit the Gu'Run organism into almost all power-reliant sources.

Fighting is seen as a necessity in Kal'Bavakorian culture as of now. Whilst diplomacy is always regarded in higher forms, combat is revered in Kal society as a way to restore and keep ones honor, and to back ones abilities and words. After the genocidal war Humanity warred against their alien rivals, as well as the Republics own Zealot Rebellion, the Republic quickly began to reinforce military systems including armor systems, weapons, and the like.

Slavery is a known, yet somewhat distanced, part of Kal'Bavakorian culture. Criminals who have performed advanced crimes, Prisoners of War, and those sold into extended Slavery or who have fallen to 'Loan Gunkas', the government-funded equivalent of a loan-shark, are slaves. Different from indentured servants, who need only serve a small term of being a 'respected' slave, actual Slaves are seen as grit beneath ones boots, used for the most dangerous work that Organic Intelligences' are seen as too expensive to even send in to finish. Slaves perform the most horrid, grueling tasks that put the powerful Kal'Bavakorian trait of strength to use at. Slavery is seen as a more noble act in Kal'Bavakorian society due to the 'refuse' of society only being sold into slavery.. Those seen as unfit to be with the rest of society, such as murderers, criminals, etc. Those who are or who were once slaves are seen as 'below' even Civilians, and do not share the basic rights a civilian, and certainty not a Citizen, have. This being so, the Systems Republic does not condone the use of slavers, the capturing and forcing of innocents into slavery.. But this is sadly a problem in Kal'Bavakorian life. Kal'Bavakorian Slavers, although seen less than Kal'Bavakorian Zealot Raiders, are known to periodically move against Kal'Bavakorian colonies on distant worlds, kidnap multiple types of people, and sell them into slavery, putting them into a system they do not deserve to be in. Kal'Bavakorian slaves are also illegally sold on the black market to other races, though Kal'Bavakorian military officials have been using new military devices to crack down heavily on these acts.

History: From the beginning, the Kal'Bavakorians lived in the lively waters, deep in the oceans. They spoke, sang, and lived in the water, their gills giving them the ability to breath. To them, there was no 'above' the water, though they knew it existed. They remained under the water, even as they built tribal camps, then industrial cities, then bustling metropolises with the assistance of their new source of energy, the Gu'Run organism, which generates electricity at a startling rate when feeding on local flora. And even as nations formed under the waters, and wars were fought over this organisms ability and over small matters such as religion and land owning, scientists began to rise from the waters to explore the top lands. Constructing bustling cities and finally taking control over their home, they realized they had reached their carrying capacity, and that their home could not support them like this for long. The Kal'Bavakorians joined together under one banner, at that time just the Republic, under their first Emperor, and sent their first craft into the stars to colonize neighboring planets. With research, planning, and a boost in terraforming sciences, which has become the Kal'Bavakorian scientists specialty, planet after planet was colonized until every colonizable world in the Un System was secured and terraformed to a nice cold, watery world. Not long after, as spacecraft sciences exploded inside the Kal'Bavakorian science community, space stations were formed over the two large gas giants in the local system, and they began to mine and transport these resources to the worlds around them. Ah yes, such was a time of expansion and peace for this fledgling young empire... Until the Zealot Rebellion of five decades ago.

Systems Republic of Kal'Bavakor (SRK) Fall_of_Coruscant_by_NitWhit+swtor+fan+art+2

The Zealots in the colonial and planetary governments, angry at this sudden surge in expansion, demanded the Kal'Bavakorian Emperor stop the expansion and the construction of the new Warp-Drive, which would allow the Kal'Bavakorian Systems Republic to leave the Un System to travel to neighboring star clusters. They believed they must wait for the Water Goddess to allow them to leave, or horrors would confront the new Republic and bring upon its downfall. When the Emperor failed to pay attention to such demands, one of the colonial planets, Nalla, seceded from the Systems Republic, declaring itself a holy world to be untouched by the sinful hands of the Republic. The Emperor was also assasinated, which brought upon the Zealot Rebellion. With a heavy clashing of starships, soldiers, and superweapons, the Republic fought hard against rebelling forces attacking Kal'Bavakor. The planet was scarred with craters, entire cities leveled, and millions killed.

The war had not fared well for the unprepared Systems Republic for the first years, with the homeworld and the planet Ruthor facing heavy devastation as well as blockades from the suddenly powerful Zealot fleet. Republic armors were weak and rugged, making it difficult for Kal'Bavakorian Republic Forces to engage Zealot rebel invaders in Slot-Sword charges as well as general combat.. Until the introduction of the new Kal'Bavakorian Battlecruiser, and Vashka Synthetic Combat Armors. With this new armor, as well as the new Giga Powered Armor, deployed on the battlefield, the Systems Republic quickly gained the upper edge. The Battlecruisers in orbit began to punch through Zealot blockades in the later years of the war once they were constructed in larger numbers, crippling the rebellious Zealot fleet.

A single Kal'Bavakorian Vanguard Marine, dressed in the, at the time, newly created Varia Power Armor. He stands over the ruins of one of the last Zealot strongholds on Nalla, days before it's re-addition to the Systems Republic.

The Kal'Bavakorian Systems Republic's military had finally begun to rise from the ashes of the surprise assassination of their Emperor, as well as the massive damage caused by the Zealot surprise attack, and had managed a counter-invasion of Nalla. When the war ended three decades after it's beginning, with the Republics remaining military forces launching forces down onto the rebelling colony world, the Zealots surrendered. Immediately upon their capture, the Zealot leaders were executed by hanging, and religion was outlawed forevermore by the Republic. During the war, over two billion Kal'Bavakorian military forces and civilians had been killed, and many more being wounded, and trillions of KK's worth of infrastructure was destroyed, making it the most costly war in Kal history, money and life-wise.

At this time, the newly renamed Systems Republic began to form into a different sort of force in light of the recent and utterly devastating Zealot Rebellion. Instead of peaceful and respectful as the Kals had been at one time, they began to manufacture powerful weapons, energy shields, starships, and the new and feared Slot Sword, a new energy sword designed to bring back the age of swordfighting once energy shields had been brought into the military, therefore making regular blaster and laser-based weaponry obsolete in warfare. No longer was the Systems Republic unprepared for a war with another race.. They formed into a dangerous foe, with warfare one of their prime worries, and specialties. While the Systems Republic has recently been avoiding the wider Galactic Community for it's own reasons, mainly desiring to remain autonomous, as well as independent and to have time to repair the damages caused by the recent civil war, they are utterly aware of the recent genocidal war between Humanity and the Alarei. Though the Kal's are known as good warriors, they are reknown even more so for their cultured, reserved ways and their ripe diplomatic skills, and the genocide by the Humans was seen by the Kal'Bavakorian people as 'dishonorable', forevermore downcasting the human race in the eyes of the Kal people... Although never having had direct contact with humans before.

The Kal'Bavakorian Systems Republic has recently begun expanding their space exploration and colonization programs at an almost violent manner. With new colonization craft outfitted with new Warp Drive technologies and small craft with deep space exploration capabilities ready for launch, the Systems Republic has begun a massive campaign to push itself beyond the Un' System, with hopes of spreading the seed of the amphibian Kal species to the far edges of the Galaxy, one system at a time... And using their array of weapons and slaves to improve their forces and planets as they go.

Religion: It is outlawed, though some still praise the 'Water Goddess', who they believe placed the Kal upon Kal'Bavakor and gave them the ability to 'swim the dark waters of space.' The Water Goddess places those who work for good and kindness amongst the stars of the 'Sky Ocean' after they die, and rewards those who fight and work for good during life. The evil are punished, sentenced to lose their gills and suffocate forever in the darkness.

Infantry Suits

Note: All Kal'Bavakorian soldiers are outfitted with powerful energy shielding, and at least some type of Slot Sword energy weapon.

ALL KAL'BAVAKORIAN ARMORS HAVE THREE FINGERS, ARE AROUND FOUR TO FIVE FEET TALL, ARE STOCKY, HAVE DOUBLE-JOINTED LEGS, BUT ARE OTHERWISE THE SAME!

Systems Republic of Kal'Bavakor (SRK) Warrior_6_by_Leevitron

Kal'Bavakorian Republic Royal Guard Armor. Not as armored as the soldiers armor, though is powered by the Gu'Run organism, and it is more mobile and allows the wearer to communicate directly to military command posts nearby, as to call for support if the Empress or Emperor is in danger. Also comes with powerful shock padding and a power HUD. Golden plated and utterly ceremonial, it is some of the most advanced armor used by the Republic. Carried with each warrior is a Slot Sword, a special weapon which creates a beam of energy from a special stock made of special alloys when activated, and a powerful Plasma Shield, mounted on the arm.

Skel' Pilot Gear, created by the Kal'Bavakorian Systems Republic Research Division specifically for Republic pilots flying fighter craft, such as the SS-5 and SS-7 Combat Fighters. The helmets come with a renewable atmospheric circulator and extra room for chin horns and cheek fins for male Kal'Bavakorians. The helmets have some of the best HUD and vision-systems available in the Republic, and the suits allow a direct uplink with the pilot's craft and it's OI. The suit also comes with many more unmentionable and classified assistance items, but some of the unclassified are special compressed areas to keep a suit rupture from spreading, armored systems, and survival gear. With these advantages, the Republic Pilot is almost always able to overcome any obstacle.

Nat'u Security Armor. Used primarily as armor for Republic Military Police and Military Security secs, the armor's HUD is outfitted with special identification software that scans any target it is directed at, retrieving their personal criminal database, files, history, and if they have a warrant for arrest. Cannot be used without the pre-set wearers usage, for the system can only by accessed by a LIVING and WILLING ORIGINAL operator, due to the armors onboard OI systems programming. Can stop basic kinetic weapons, and is not effected by EMP due to the armors virtually non-existent need for power, for it is mostly just a suit of armor.

Kal'Bavakorian Republic Suhvka Synthetic Armor. The weapon in the picture is a DTL-1 Energy Rifle, an automatic laser weapon. Both are powered by the Gu'Rum organism, which powers their armor and weapons for an indefinite time. The suit is sealed, as is every Kal'Bavakorian armored suit, and can be used in a vacuum. Can operate in water, in space, or on land. Improves the wearers strength by a tiny bit, and defends heavily against laser and kinetic fire. Used in small engagements, recon, and missions that do not require a great deal of combat and have a low threat level due to recent improvements in armor. Also has a medical varient: http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2011/325/5/b/medicbot_by_thompson46-d4gva2h.jpg

-Mechanized Exo-Suit

Mechanized Infantry Exo-Suit. This allows the wearer to carry heavier weaponry which even the extremely strong regular Kal'Bavakorian could not carry. Allows them to carry heavy gear as well. This makes the Exo-Suit the workhorse of the Republic, and this armor is frequently worn by Kals on EVA trips and by engineers. Can operate in water, space, or on land. Defends the wearer much, much greater than the 'Warrior' Armor. Also available is the Mechanized Armored Exo-Suit, which allows even greater control and allows extremely heavy lifting at the expense of protection. Used mostly in non-combat zones, though is known to be used in combat by Exo-Pilots using OI Mech Weapons.

Vashka Combat Powered Armor, created by Kal Armors Industrial for the System Republic Marines. An improved version of the basic Kal'Bavakorian Systems Republic's 'Suhvka' Synthetic Armor, this armor defends against plasma and laser based attacks. It increases the wearers strength by a serious amount, not as much as the Exo-Suit armor, but it defends the wearer tons more. The armor comes with certain areas having a small shield placed over it, such as the torso, helmet, shins and bicep areas, and allows the wearer to see in night, thermal, and electronic systems. The pure-white armor, colored the same as the snowy background of the homeworld, has a helmet with extra outsized breathing apperatus, extended forward to allow Kal'Bavakorian chin horns room within' the helmet. Meant for fear and secret operations.. Hence it's strange appearance. Designed for orbital drops and EVA assaults, as well as atmospheric flight, used by Republic Flash Commando Units.

Currently only a prototype, and the first military armor that has ever been constructed by joint Republic and corporate alliances, the Varia Infantry Power Armor is the pincale of Republic power armor technology. Using genetically enhanced Gu'Run organisms to power this armor, it comes equipped with thrusters and heavy impact defenses. It comes with a more powerful EMP defense than the Giga suit, an updated HUD display which ties weapon systems to the HUD, attached knife and CQC systems, and a prototype 'Freeze Ray' IRG-07 Environmental Weapon, which sprays a powerful liquid nitrogen to freeze targets and render them easy to break and smash. With enhanced recoil dampeners, powerful anti-laser and plasma defenses, and a prototype personal shield generator, this is the most powerful, and expensive, suit of armor the Republic has ever created.

Using the same technology by the KBFN-05 Stealth Cruiser on a smaller scale, it can be activated to a 'Stealth' Setting. When activated, this armor absorbs light, making it utterly invisible to the human eye. It is lightweight and is covered in sound dampeners and hydralic systems to make sure foot steps and movements make no noise. Even scraping this suit against metal, though the operators of this advanced armor are so skilled they would never do such, would barely make a noise. It comes with powerful communication technology, advanced targeting systems, a powerful HUD, and a large, auto-sharpened blade that comes attached to the wrists of the armor, allowing the user to slice through organics and metals easily. The legs come with powerful impact dampeners as well, allowing the user to fall multiple stories without injury, if they land on their feet. Also comes with a powerful camera which uploads intel directly to Republic Space Command through the most powerful of jammers. Armor can also not be seen on radar or heat signatures due to the sealed, freezing environment inside the armor suits. Used by snipers and infiltrators.

Svu'Kavsi Armor, the armor used exclusivity by the Republic Svu'Kavsi, or the Republic Secret Police. The aspects behind this armor are generally unknown, but it IS known to have advanced comm systems, performance boosters and organic and mechanical muscle boosters, a powerful jamming system, advanced agility, protective shielding, a multitude of visor systems, and many, many things that only the top Republic scientists could possibly know. Is also engaged with rocket boosters, a multitude of weapon energizers, torture devices, interrogation and recording equipment, demolitions systems, and much, much more. Only female suits, since Svu'Kavsi are only female. They also use special armor when performing ops in dangerous combat zones, as shown here: http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/210/7/a/__Emerging_from_the_Fail___by_Ragaru.jpg

Tank Suit X-1. The 'tank' for the Kal'Bavakorian military, this highly mobile, nine-foot-tall battlesuit can be carried by dropships and used as armor support and artillery for combat operations against enemy forces. Can take a heavy beating, and is one of the most advanced military ground forces in use by the Kal'Bavakorian military. Can operate in water, space, and land. Pilot seat is at the very top, the 'head' of the mech.

http://th04.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/f/2010/212/6/e/Mech_Warrior___Marauder_by_Shimmering_Sword.jpg

Armaggedon Suit X-2. This 2 story tall piece of machinery is the largest 'tank' available to the Republic Army. This machine is called in when the heavy armor fighting starts, and is armed with a rocket launcher, multiple mini-guns, and a beam cannon, which fires a much weaker version of what the Republics space frigates fire. It has a crew of five, and must be brought down by a dropship on its underbelly, one at a time. Can only operate on land. Is very mobile and has a top speed of 30 mph.

http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs13/f/2006/362/a/f/Corporate_Assault_mech_by_flyingdebris.jpg

The latest in mechanized Republic armor, the Reaver X-3 is a the product of work between the Republic Research Service and Kal'Too Arms. An improved design of the Armaggedon, the Reaver features a two man crew, a top speed of fifty miles per hour, and a much more improved Ga'Run organism reactor. The armor is improved, reinforced with extra plating and special polymers to protect the armored tank from missiles, plasma, and EMP to a certain degree. The walker is armed with a gauss cannon, improved gatling lasers with improved energy export and an ultra-violet power improver, and rocket launchers. Added on it are two small surgical arms, used for grabbing. The mech also has thrusters on the back to give the Reaver limited flight capabilities. It is about 20 feet tall.

Mecha-Tank V-12 ->

Systems Republic of Kal'Bavakor (SRK) Cute_little_pig_by_zhangx-d4w9ube

Designed by the Republic Research Division and constructed by OI Advances Conglomerate, the Mecha-Tank V-12 is the 'tank' of the Systems Republic. Relying upon armored struts, an onboard OI, and a tank crew to support it and direct it, this unit carries multiple plasma-turrets and a single 120mm Plasma Cannon. Able to climb directly up walls with use of magnetic latches, as well as gravity well systems, and can traverse a variety of terrains. Carries a crew of five, and is about the size of a modern day tank. Uses a shield system and armor for defense.

http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/17n10ok1rfyctjpg/original.jpg

B-16 Naval Battleship, designed for water engagements. Can submerge itself for combat beneath the waves, uses shields above water, and is equipped with powerful anti-ship rail guns, a single turbo-laser battery, and multiple other weapon systems. Can be used in sieges against underwater forces and cities, or used to drop forces off on shores.

**All Kal'Bavakorian armors have installed organic components to increase wearer awareness, reaction time, strength, and other functions such as waste removal and the like.

Air/Sea Units

http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs16/f/2007/212/7/f/IDoTW040___Gunship_FINAL_by_Legato895.jpg

P-38 Gunship. The first air unit in use by the Republic. It can switch to underwater or air travel, but not space. Lightly armored and bristling with rocket cannons and high velocity, armor piercing, explosive headed-rounds machine guns, this unit supports ground forces in an attack. Has a crew of two, and has the ability to hover and move at speeds of up to 500 mph.

http://cdn.obsidianportal.com/assets/95564/falcon_by_karanak-d4chvsi.jpg

F-45 Fighter Jet. Used for quick hit and run attacks on ground and air targets, but cannot be used underwater or in space. Carries missiles, point defense lasers for combat against enemy fighters, chaffs, and bombs on special missions. The craft has a team of two, one weapons officer and one pilot, and can travel up to Hypersonic speeds of 5000 Mph. All weapons are hidden inside the fighters sleep hull until combat in order to ensure a stealthy entry for the craft. It's design makes it almost invisible to radar, and it's engines are supercooled to hide it from infrared sensors. Engines make very little noise.

**The Kal'Bavakorian Republic has only a small water navy, since they never required the use of naval ships except for transporting large cargo due to their ability to breath underwater, they only use it for heavy firepower where their armored suits and themselves alone cannot use. They prefer more mobile, hit and run tactics, though, so naval ships are not heavily used.

Space Craft

http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2011/347/0/a/dropship_concept_by_neisbeis-d4j1xrd.jpg

A Kal'Bavakorian KFN-1 Dropship. Designed to carry large amounts of supplies, soldiers, and/or Tank suits in or out of battle. Two pilots, no weapons. Can be used for battles or diplomatic reasons.

http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2011/100/5/f/5f20bde685b0a0fd6a6213efd286a1b5-d39npri.jpg

SS-4 Manned Multi-Purpose Craft. Armed with heavy laser cannons, strong shields, little armor, and extreme maneuverability, this craft can be used as either a strike fighter, interceptor, or bomber, depending on the class of the ship used. Interceptors and fighters share a great deal of similarity, except that fighters have more armor. Bombers carry a crew of two, have heavier armor, and carry powerful photon bombs capable of immense damage to starship and land-based structures. OI-fitted craft as well.. Drones.

http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2012/235/c/5/t5_evr_wakizashi_by_karanak-d5c4em6.jpg

SS-7 Starfighter. Basically an improvement in a armaments with blaster cannons, four in total, and an OI operated point-defense cannon on top. Slower speed, but much heavier armor and shields. Bomb and torpedo system, and can drop weapons like Bio-Bombs, Biological Torpedoes, Homing Torpedoes, Plasma ordinance, and special Seismic Plasma Charges.

http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2012/120/8/4/star_wars_tie_fighter_by_adamkop-d4xth7k.jpg

SS-9 Drone Starfighter. No shields, light armor, but almost impossible-to-handle maneuverability. Due to the craft being controlled solely by a Republic Organic Intelligence, it is able to pull mind-bending maneuvers, and do seemingly impossible operations that no organic being could do. These ships carry powerful frontal blaster cannons, seismic plasma charges, and anti-fighter and anti-ship plasma torpedoes. These craft are more of the Republic's interceptor craft, and the newer SS-9A has the capacity to be controlled either by an OI or a pilot. The SS-9A is superior as the creative, quick witted mind of a Kal'Bavakorian pilot, and the precise, mind-numbing quickness of an OI work together to create a deadly foe that brings fear to both Zealots and Alien fighter pilots.

http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2011/027/c/f/cf86003d14beb7d43579c20c809b7835-d386y11.jpg

SRNC-1 Assault Frigate. Armed with multiple laser batteries, light armor, and a large Energy Beam Cannon, these frigates are meant to fly in quick, give a punch to whatever is in its way, and get out of Dodge as soon as possible. They are highly maneuverable and move at quick speeds. These are not large frigates, and carry light armor and a small crew. Used to escort colony ships and has a weak anti-fighter defense.

http://www.bwafer.com/starwars/images/ZAON_VenTsu_CustomsFrigate_1.jpg

SRNC-2 Heavy Frigate. These ships have the heavier armor and the larger batteries, and are meant to take a beating. With a larger crew and more powerful weapons, including missile batteries, beam cannons and laser batteries, this ship is usually at the head of the fleet, and can carry a small detachment of fighters.

http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20070908181058/homeworld/images/6/68/HW2_Comps_01_DC_HGN_IonCannonFrigate.jpg]http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20070908181058/homeworld/images/6/68/HW2_Comps_01_DC_HGN_IonCannonFrigate.jpg

SRNC-3 Ion Cannon Frigate. This medium-sized frigates mission is to remain at the fear of the fleet to provide support for other ships by firing a powerful Ion beam at enemy capital ships in an attempt to disable them, whether for boarding action or to allow allied forces to hit them harder. Carries a small crew, can hold a small detachment of fighters, and has a strong anti-fighter defense. No other weapons besides the Ion Cannon. Weak armor. Used as anti-fighter ships in some scenarios.

http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2010/013/f/b/Carrier1_by_gennady.jpg

SRNC-04 Carrier Cruiser. It is usually the flagship of any small, Capital Ship-less fleet, and can carry a large force of dropships, fighters, and so on. Carries a large crew, a strong anti-fighter defense, and multiple laser batteries and missile batteries, but no heavy weapons. This ship has some of the heaviest armor available. Can refit large amounts of spacecraft and hold them. Can hold up to 300 fighter-bombers. Can also carry colonists for colony creation. Has a single gauss cannon.

http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs49/f/2009/234/c/7/hive_ship_v2_sgacolors__by_Wen_JR.jpg

SRNC-05 Stealth Cruiser. A radical new design created by Sneaky One Incorporated and modified by the Republic Research Division, the Stealth Cruiser is a one of a kind ship. With a cloaking technology that absorbs all light, making the ship utterly invisible to visual scannings, and a design that distorts scanning and radar, the ship is almost unseen when in cloaking mode. It is smaller than a usual Cruiser, but it is very powerful and agile. It comes with weak armor, no shields, but it is clearly one of the fastest cruisers available, rivalling the Assault Frigate in speed and agility. It comes with two mac cannons attached, multiple beam cannons, missile batteries, comm jammers, an interdiction field technology, and point defense. It has multiple varieties of missile defenses and its communication technologies can break through some of the best jamming technology known to the galaxy. It is the very pinaccle of stealth technology, and expresses Republic military doctrine to the letter... Move Fast, Hit Hard, Retreat, Repeat.

http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2012/004/2/e/flags_and_guns_by_shimmering_sword-d4lbfg4.jpg

SRNC-06 BattleShip. With the dealings of races with ever larger warships, the Republic has begun expanding into even more powerful weapons and armor systems, not to mention larger craft. the KBFN-06 Battleship has been designed and is currently in prototype stages, with their use barreling into the Republic's navy soon. With contact with new races, the Republic was able to bypass its old problems with building these large craft, and has updated their weapon systems and armor for this reason exacly. Armed with the latest in armors to defend against plasma and laser-based attacks, and a new array of weapons such as the BC-2, or as the Research Division calls it, the 'UberBeam' cannon, which fires off an ungodly amount of energy into one blast. Comes equipped with two ion-beam cannons, a large amount of photon-torpedo cannons, turbo-laser batteries, missile batteries, and anti-fighter point defense cannons. Also has a single Magnetic Accelerator Cannon. Has a single hanger, capable to handing fighters and dropships. Also comes equipped with a powerful Command Center, like the battlecruisers. Faster than your average Battleship.

Republic Flagship 'Eyes of the Empress' - Dreadnaught Class. This is the ONLY ship class of its kind, and is the flagship of the entire Republic Navy. Meant to carry the Empress herself, it is outfitted with ALL available armament systems, the HEAVIEST armor available, the most advanced holographic Combat Control Center in the Navy, the ability to hold large amounts of colonists, soldiers, dropships, and has the ability to refit fighters and frigate ships. This ship is the pinnacle of Republic starship construction. It is only used when the Empress herself is traveling to combat zones or in dangerous territory, or when traveling long distances. It may be called upon to reinforce the fleet in combat if the situation demands it.

http://images.wikia.com/killzone/images/0/04/ISA_Cruiser_Luanch_Facility_Base.jpg

SRNC-XX Armed Forces Carrier. These craft, utterly nimble but very, very large, are launched from special pads from Systems Republic-owned planets. Carrying tens of thousands of soldiers, mechs, aircraft, drones, and etc, these ships rotate themselves and activate their thrusters, pushing themselves into the atmospheres of enemy planets. They have the ability to fire orbital strikes when they are 'deployed', using powerful 'UberBeam' cannons and missile launchers. They also have very powerful point defense weapons to defend against enemy fighters and ground forces. When in space, they remain at the rear of fleets, firing missiles and their 'UberBeam' cannons to support friendly craft in battle before they perform their missions. They do not have shields, but do carry VERY heavy armor.

**Kal'Bavakorian Ships have been updated with shield technology. All Kal'Bavakorian ships are constructed with some organic material, such as 'nerves' and reactionary systems of an organic matter, which allow the ship to react on its own in a defensive manner at some times, as well as quicken reaction times on ships, improve armor, power the ship, assist in waste removal, etc.

Civilian Clothes and Veichles:

http://sleety.org/files/2010/03/the-quarians.jpg

Enviro-Suits, basic Kal'Bavakorian attire when not in a humid environment. They are used when in contact with new races, on hot, desert-like worlds, in non-humid environments when there for a long period of time, and in EVA environments. They are treated as regular clothing, and almost all normal Kal'Bavakorian citizens wear the enviro-suit on the colonies or on Kal'Bavakor, just without the mask. It has become an integral part of Kal'Bavakorian society, and a symbol of their uniqueness and intelligence.

Otherwise, regular Kal'Bavakorian clothing is rather normal, mostly casual attire. Only military forces and upper level caste members, such as the Empress or Council members wear expensive clothing at any given time.

** All Kal'Bavakorian clothing is waterproof.

A civilian underwater 'train', used for transport of supplies underwater. A single energy turret is placed upon the hull to defend the high speed train from underwater beasts such as the Kal'Meesu.

Above water, regular trains are used.

A Kal'Bavakorian Republic Colonial Cruiser. Protected by military ships, this ship can carry large amounts of Kal'Bavakorians in cryo, depending on the distance of the target planet, before dropping tons of colonists, supplies, and terraforming equipment onto the planet below. Carries a huge crew, has very weak armor, and no weapons. Very fast cruiser, and is the second largest ship in the Federation fleet.

http://theflickcast.com/wp-content/uploads//district-9-ship.jpg

Republic Colonial Lander, a large ship used to land large amounts of colonists in a short time. Used for short range colonization and emergency supply runs, and it uses an unorthodox design. Also used for military purposes if need be. Same outfittings as a Colonial Cruiser.

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-H3gZyoETPeU/T6r7TQX68HI/AAAAAAAAAB8/UNEWwJvzjVM/s1600/caldari-charon-3.jpg

A Kal'Bavakorian Republic Freighter. Meant to carry large cargos of supplies in a multitude of environments and in a multitude of dangers, it is about the size of the Colonial Cruiser. Can hold millions of tons of supplies and equipment for trade with other empires, has powerful armor, great speed, and carries a detachment of Power Armored Marines at all times to protect cargo. The Freighter has weak defenses, and therefore requires a defense of multiple ships.

[/HR]

Important Persons:

Empress Elena Ru, the current Empress of the Kal'Bavakorian Republic. At the age of 87, she recently finished her Federal Service as a Combat Tactical Officer and Frontierswoman and was designated the offical Empress of the Systems Republic after working on the Grand Council for Kal'Bavakor. With her father, the previous Emperor of the Republic, having been killed before it was Elena's turn to take reign of the empire, when she was ten, the Grand Council unofficially ruled the Systems Republic with Elena's assistance until she was able to take the reigns after her training for the job was done when she was 35. She now leads the entire Systems Republic from her home, and the capital city, on Kal'Bavakor. As a sign of her power, she has received the 'Leaders Sign', a tatoo written onto her cheek, which all Emperors and Empress' have.

Misc:

http://michaelmay.us/08blog/gallery/0616a_seacreature.jpg

The Kal'Meesu, the most horrid and dangerous creatures on Kal'Bavakor. They inhabit the deepest, darkest tunnels and depths of the oceans, and come every so often to the top to hunt for anything, sentient and non-sentient alike.

http://images.wikia.com/metroid/images/c/c6/A-metroid.jpg

Gu'Run organism. Used by the Kal'Bavakorians and genetically altered by them to enhance their electricity creating abilities, and to form them into sizes that can fit into buildings, armor, and starships to generate power for the entire Systems Republic. Must be fed a special nutrient paste in order to keep them alive, which is generated as a bi-product of this special form of electricity's usage. Basically, it is an infinite circuit of power, but trillions upon trillions of this micro-organism must be grown in order to power cities and ships, and they are easily killed, which is why they are protected so well.

http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg296/scaled.php?server=296&filename=alipetpi7.jpg&res=landing

Mulu animal. Like a humans household cat, this is a popular household pet in the Republic, and the only creature Republic Scientists have actually created from genetic and organic manipulation. The Mulu animal eats small animals and other organic compounds created by pet companies, and is a slimy, gentle creature which makes 'squishing' noises or 'humming' noises to communicate. Enjoys playing, being pet, loves the cold and water, and its method of defense is hardening its outer slime into a sort of shell, before it sheds it after the fight is over. It uses its antenna as a weapon, which can suck up items or can harden the tips into blade-like attachments, though it only does this if threatened by predators. Very friendly towards sentient species.

Example of a Republic Combat Organic Intelligence. Basically, it is a machine with an organic brain as a processor, which has been programmed to do specific things. The brain is made from Kal DNA, giving the organ a black color. With special programming in place, the brain is allowed to think restrictivly to the point of how it might improve work speed safely, or the like, and is allowed to feel certain emotions, like joy, happiness, and sometimes boredom. Love is a restricted emotion to OI's, though they can feel attachments and respect to certain OI's or organic beings. The OI's have personalities they select at creation, as well as genders and names they select, and they also pick their jobs unless there is an over-population of OI's in one selection of work. Current work assignments for OI's are cleaning, combat, medicine, construction, repair, and multiple others. To keep an OI happy, their brains are programmed to produce joy and content emotions while working, and these are improved by other OI's and organics talking and working with them. They are undying loyal to the Republic and extremely intelligent, almost like AI's in a sense. They are a frequent sight on the streets of Kal cities and military bases, and are also used for work in dangerous areas, like on Kal'Bavakor, where OI's patrol the cities and also clean the streets, keeping it ready for the return of their Kal'Bavakorian 'brothers and sisters'. Suprisingly, OI's are treated rather well by Kal'Bavakorians, almost like sentients themselves, and Kals can be seen chatting to OI's constantly. Of course, there are laws for such technology, two of which are that OI's cannot replace Kals at work, only help, and any attempt to augment a living Kal'Bavakorian with OI technology is punishable by death.

More powerful and advanced OI's are being developed in secrecy to act as ship, military, or space station AI.

Kal'Bavakorian Basa Soda. A delicious concoction made of materials from sugar, thickened formulas, fluids from a Valaka squid's utters, a sweet nectar taken from the underwater Nunu bud, and a host of other tasty products, finished off with a sparkling, explosive visual touch. It is the top selling drink in all of the Republic, but is known to have some crazy side effects because of all the strange places it's formula is taken from. Whilst delicious and... Somewhat healthy, it is known to cause a massive sugar rush, headaches, nausea, and even can cause the drinker to come down with a some sort of hives if drank in too much quantities. No deaths, of course..

It's a popular design now, dunno why it wouldn't be in the future. It makes sense to be fairly practical, looks good, and (at least) seems modular.

Claiming the design as the standard for IFM legionnaires. I hope you got nothing against it Eyes, it seems like you bought half the deviant art anyway.

He has a point, the amount of armors you've claimed is unnecessary.

I don't even get why a species would need so many different kinds of armor and why 90% of the designs don't even look alike.

The problem is that as soon as he sees any cool picture on deviantart he adds it to his list of armors just for the sake of having a plethora of cool armors.

Strictly from a tactical viewpoint the only way to use so many armors would for each of them to fulfill a single purpose, that way using lots of different armors would be plausible, that in turn means that all of your soldiers will be great against one thing, but weak against all others, to say that they are all upgrades makes no sense because you'd burn through spending adopting hundreds of different designs, I'd say stick with the Tau Armour and make it stupidly flexible.

When I was playing Nakar one of the reasons the ground soldiers were so good was the fact that they all were exactly the same, very rarely were there support units because my race focused on making the one thing perfect, rather than rely on other infantry and 9/10 times it worked very effectively.

This isn't band wagoning; Its CC

its bandwagoning when five or six people post to make the same point that the first person made

im pretty sure when eyes reads it he'll get the idea and having loads of people jump on it and go 'yeah!' doesnt really help in any way

Im sorry, I was unaware that you knew the inner workings of my mind. Thank you for telling everyone how I operate.

I'll delete some armors, I don't even use half of them anyway.
